It was fantastic to attend @NHSEngland 'Innovation in the Early Diagnosis of Cancer' event and learn about the important innovations happening across the country. Project lead @VSAthwal joined an expert panel to discuss how to improve pathways #NHSCancerInnovation @sbrihealthcare


🏆 Congratulations to researchers at @MFTnhs, @OfficialUoM, working in collaboration with @RocheDiaUK, who have been shortlisted for a HSJ Partnership Award 2025. The team have implemented new technology across MFT which is improving the early detection of a common liver cancer.






The huge rise in deaths from liver disease exemplifies the decline of our nation's health under the Conservatives, with worsening outcomes and widening inequalities. Stockport's liver disease mortality rate is 16.5% higher than the average. I secured a debate on this crisis 👇🏾
