I keep seeing people say that Forza Horizon isnt a sim, and I’m curious to know why people say this. I play it on a sim setup and it feels very much like playing assetto corsa, or WRC games with the way it handles. What is it specifically that makes people say this?

@YourWaifu @ledfut360 It does though??????? If you turn on damage. If you hit a wall hard youll damage your suspension and bodywork. If you over rev the engine itll damage it. Assetto does, do meaningful damage you just choose not to see it

Most Forza players just seem to not want to play the game to get things, hence why the progression has always been jank. They basically want to be able to get everything in the game with as minimal effort as possible. Then complain that there is nothing to do after a short while.
