As expected as the market is rallying we are seeing implied vols in the SPX reset higher. This will continue to happen as we rally. Options are too cheap given the moves and upward trajectory of the market. Come check out VolSignals.com to learn more.

In the last month SPX earnings have been revised up sharply. It is possible that we may be $330+ earnings this year. This is clearly supportive for the market. While I do not anticipate the pace of the rally to be like April I do think we probably go higher from here. In that case the SPX vol will continue to float as we move higher meaning the fixed strike vol will increase as we rally.

Vol is too low in my opinion given all the uncertainty that still exists in the market.
