@SuperSisi The peak is MGS4, the final walk into the Outer Haven Core. Everything from Metal Gear on through Solid 4 comes to a head and a definitive finish. The low point is MGS5 recasting Snake for the wrong reasons.

@PaldeanRTT @Duditsky I mean, given the time span they probably just wanted to avoid the unfortunate path Ranmaru tends to take with fictionalized tellings of the period. Like, he gets turned into either a snot nosed brat(Sengoku Basara) or has heavy BL overtones(SW1 with Mitsuhide).

I still don't understand why he wasn't in SW5. There were other choices too (Aya, Masayuki, Naotora, Nene) but what is the justification for leaving an Oda retainer out of an Oda-based title??

I mean, fans were saying for years that Ned was a bad twist and didn’t make any sense. I could be totally wrong but I think most folks like this twist today because of the MCU’s version of Peter and Ned being best friends, and they want some of that Harry Osborn Peter Parker drama that they expect from a goblin story— but I don’t even remember Ned and Peter being that great of friends in the comics, and Peter never knew Ned was the Hobgoblin while Ned was alive. There was no real conflict between the two because of it. It was ORIGINALLY supposed to be Rodrick Kingsley when he was created, the next writer then decided it was a cheap twist with the twins and wanted to make it Richard Fisk with the hints of Ned (and other characters) being red-herrings, he told the editor it was going to be Ned Leeds (they didn’t like each other) which was smart because the editor then killed Ned in a separate Spider-Man Wolverine comic to spite him and told the new writer to make it The Foreigner, and then the new writer decided to respect the other writer’s (fake) wishes to make it Ned, revealing it after the character was killed. The original creator of the Hobgoblin came back years later and retconned it back to his original vision and fixed something the fans had always thought was stupid. So he essentially retconned a retcon.

Oh. Right. Today is also Maid Day... I've got a few new bodies to test when I get home.

@Skyla_SkyDancer Usually it's not a big deal due to how soda fountains work(they only have to buy the syrup from the Drink Company) but it has become such an issue in recent years that the profits are being lost.

@Skyla_SkyDancer Actually it's becoming more common for them to be removed in America because of people that ask for a free water cup stealing refills from them. In general refills are usually free at a fast food restaurant, and if it's not self serve you just need to ask an employee.

So I just found out that apparently these aren't common and people usually pay for refills at fast food places or restaurants?? Is this something im to canadian to understand that its normal lol
