Narodna skupština Republike Srbije ne sme biti mesto za organizovanje izložbi o jedinicama VJ i MUP RS koje su učestvovale u operacijama čiji su najviši komandanti osuđeni za zločine protiv čovečnosti na Kosovu tokom 1999. godine. Izložba o komandantu Posebnih jedinica policije (PJP) Obradu Stevanoviću predstavlja pokušaj da se presude Haškog tribunala obesmisle i da Narodna skupština Srbije legitimizuje prekrajanje istorije. Izložba priča o "herojstvu" PJP, a sudske činjenice pokazuju da su 73. teritorijalni odred PJP i čete PJP iz Đakovice i Prizrena, pored brigada i bataljina VJ, učestvovali u operaciji u dolini Reka u opštini Đakovica 27. i 28. aprila 1999. godine, kada su ubijena 374 albanska civila. Nema na izložbi fotografija masovnih grobnica u Batajnici, gde su nađena tela 312 Albanaca koji su poslednji put viđeni u Meji i Korenici 27. aprila 1999. godine. Ne pominje se ni selo Beleg ni teritorijalna četa 72 Odreda PJP koja je 30. marta 1999. godine učestvovala u proterivanju žena, dece i staraca, kada su zadržani muškarci ubijeni, a posmrtni ostaci još 32 Albanca nisu pronađena. Ove činjenice su utvrđene u sudskim postupcima i potvrđene u istraživanjima Fonda za humanitarno pravo i Fonda za humanitarno pravo Kosovo. Izložba koja ih prećutkuje predstavlja institucionalno falsifikovanje činjenica o ratnim zločinima i zahteva jasan i glasan protest.

🇽🇰’s 🇪🇺 membership perspective has for too long amounted to an empty promise. One day. Maybe. Probably not. Twenty-two years after the #Thessaloniki promise, #Kosovo was only “permitted” to apply for 🇪🇺 membership in December 2022. Since then, there has been no progress: no forwarding of the application, no questionnaire, no opinion, and no credible vision for a breakthrough. 🇽🇰 therefore remains the only applicant among the ten still classified as a “potential candidate”. Together with 🇷🇸 and 🇹🇷, it is also the only one that, since the so-called new momentum of 2022, has not taken a single formal step in the accession process. Against this backdrop, it is remarkable that since 2022 🇽🇰 has improved its level of preparedness for 🇪🇺 membership in 8 of the 31 policy areas assessed by the European Commission in its country reports. Although 🇽🇰 remains better prepared only than 🇧🇦, its overall improvement over the same period exceeds that of 🇲🇰🇷🇸🇧🇦🇹🇷🇬🇪 combined, and matches that of #Ukraine. The 3️⃣ questions for 🇽🇰’s supporters and observers: 1️⃣ Why this has happened? 2️⃣ What might have occurred had 🇽🇰 been given a fair chance, with its application accepted and a clear path towards candidate status and accession talks opened. 3️⃣ If this path existed, would it have supported the normalisation of relations with 🇷🇸? The 2013-2016 experience with 🇽🇰’s stabilisation and association agreement (#SAA) suggests that it would have.
