A brand new map on our trailhead kiosk, signs, benches, natural history brochure, and an accessible privy at the North Branch Cascades Trail thanks to a grant from @AARPLivable. The parking areas are plowed, so it's a great all-season destination. #AARPCommunityChallenge

A reminder from VRC that snow melt creates turbulent & deceptively swift waters, and that riverbanks and rocks might be especially slippery! PLEASE stay safe if you hike near water, consider leashing your pets, & do not enter turbulent rivers for any reason.

VRC has been a grateful recipient of VHCB support for many years- funding important projects that protect public access to our rivers throughout Vermont. When you think of your favorite VRC swimming hole, you likely have VHCB to thank! r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?f=001cD…

Vermont River Conservancy will be closed for Thanksgiving week, November 23-27, to allow our staff some time to rest, re-charge, and re-set after a challenging year. Happy and peaceful Thanksgiving to you and your families - we are thankful for you all. (📷Richard Reynolds)
