Over the past three weeks, the 120th Pre-Basic class took on a variety of physical and mental challenges. Today they graduate and begin the 17-week basic training academy on Monday. Best of luck to the 120th as they continue their journey to becoming Vermont State Troopers.

Trooper Chris Hein recently stopped a vehicle after observing a small child being held in the back seat without a car seat. Vermont law requires children to be properly restrained in a car seat until age 8 or until they meet the seat manufacturer’s height and weight limits.
