@VT_Akina Subathons from a streamer point of view are structured content to try new things in rapid succession with a more engaged audience. It also builds on the community and allow specific members to feel less awkward about supporting because there are defined rewards for doing so.

Genuine question, what's the appeal of subathons ? Without talking about the extra rewards for subbing, are subathons somehow different from normally streaming regularly ? I don't know much about subathons, please educate me 😅

@VT_Akina Yess exactly!! You entertain like you usually would but you offer something extra. There's pretty much nothing more to it but it does depend on what you offer in return. Some people make silly goals while others make serious goals

@VT_Akina I see it as, giving smalk things back to the community while also encouraging them to sub/donate. It's basically like a trade? They give something and you give something back to make it feel fair?? That's how I see it at least

@ZerosOcean This is so silly, Genshin takes inspiration from various cultures AND is trying to appeal to an audience that likes anime characters, just like vtubers. Ofc that means some designs will look similar 🤦‍♀️ some people can't stop to think for a second

I'm sorry for the rant but... Please don't compare every vtuber outfit to genshin impact. It's cool that you think they are similar and all but not every outfit is inspired by that game.
