Honored to join @AmChamEU Transatlantic dinner where together with Ambassador @AndyPuzder delivered keynote speech. 🇺🇦 is strong ally, has what to propose to our partners. UA won this winter, but damages are huge, preparation for next one started, need private & public support.

A productive meeting in Brussels with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy @kajakallas. We spoke about Ukraine’s energy sector after an exceptionally difficult winter, our preparations for the next heating season, and the next steps in increasing pressure on russia. Our immediate priorities are clear: emergency repairs, replacing damaged equipment, and urgently securing everything needed for recovery, physical protection, and reserve capacity. The second key track of our joint work is stronger sanctions on russia. Ukraine looks to the adoption of the EU’s 20th sanctions package to further limit the aggressor’s financial resources and weaken its ability to fund the war. Grateful to the European Union for its continued support. We count on close coordination ahead to strengthen Ukraine’s energy resilience and the energy security of our wider region. _____ З Високою представницею ЄС із закордонних справ та політики безпеки Каєю Каллас провели змістовну зустріч у Брюсселі. Обговорили ситуацію в енергетичному секторі України після проходження цієї надскладної зими, підготовку до наступного опалювального сезону, а також подальші кроки щодо посилення тиску на росію. Наші нагальні пріоритети - аварійні ремонти, заміна обладнання, а також термінова закупівля всього необхідного для відновлення, фізичного захисту та формування резервів. Інший вектор спільної роботи - посилення санкційного тиску на росію. Україна очікує на ухвалення 20-го пакета санкцій ЄС, який має обмежити фінансові ресурси держави-агресора та її здатність фінансувати війну. Вдячні Європейському Союзу за підтримку. Розраховуємо на подальшу координацію дій для зміцнення енергетичної стійкості України та енергетичної безпеки регіону.

Pleased to meet with @MartaKosEU, EU Commissioner for Enlargement. Discussed the start of preparations for the next winter, including Ukraine’s priorities, needs, and key tasks. We are counting on the EU’s support in developing decentralized generation and strengthening the resilience of regions. We also coordinated Ukraine’s progress toward its European integration goals under the energy agenda. Work on legislation is ongoing, in particular on the Electricity Integration Package, which is crucial for integrating Ukraine’s electricity market with the EU. Recently, the President of Ukraine also signed an important law aimed at improving conditions for electricity generation from RES. I thank @EU_Commission for its unwavering support of Ukraine and for backing our European integration efforts. _____ Радий зустрічі з пані Комісаром ЄС з питань розширення Мартою Кос. Обговорили початок підготовки до наступної зими: наші пріоритети, потреби та завдання. Розраховуємо на підтримку ЄС в розбудові децентралізованої генерації та посиленні стійкості регіонів. Скоординували прогрес України у просуванні до цілей європейської інтеграції за енергетичним порядком денним. Продовжуємо роботу над законодавством, зокрема Пакетом інтеграції електроенергетики, що є важливим для об'єднання ринків з ЄС. Днями Президент України також підписав важливий Закон щодо покращення умов виробництва електроенергії з ВДЕ. Дякую Єврокомісії за непохитну підтримку України і наших євроінтеграційних прагнень.

We are losing no time on Ukraine’s reforms. We now have a clear to do list for all six negotiating clusters. Ukraine can speed up reforms that are essential for its integration into the EU and the basis for its long-term prosperity.

Today, the Ukrainian delegation in Brussels received the European Union’s accession benchmarks for the final three negotiating clusters. This means Ukraine now has the full set of requirements to meet for EU membership. Ukraine is moving confidently along its path to European integration. The swift completion of the official screening of Ukrainian legislation for compliance with EU law demonstrates the country’s institutional capacity and readiness to move to the next stage. The next steps are successful closure of the clusters and signing of the Accession Treaty, the final step toward Ukraine’s full membership in the European Union. Today, Ukraine received the details for Cluster 3 “Competitiveness and Inclusive Growth,” Cluster 4 “Green Agenda and Sustainable Connectivity,” and Cluster 5 “Resources, Agriculture and Cohesion Policy.” In December, the Ukrainian side received the benchmarks for three other clusters: Cluster 1 “Fundamentals of the EU Accession Process,” Cluster 2 “Internal Market,” and Cluster 6 “External Relations.” The Ukrainian government will continue to fulfill the accession requirements, implement the necessary reforms and measures, and report to the EU on progress. Two colours, burning with resistance. Four years into Russia’s full-scale war, these colours are shining brighter than ever Slava Ukraini.

Delivered a keynote lecture at @VUBrussel on Ukraine’s European integration and EU’s foreign policy response to Russia’s war. Four years on, enlargement has become a strategic security instrument. Ukraine’s accession is investment in EU’s security, stability and shared values.

Grateful to Amb @AndersEideNOR for vital discussion at Norway House & to 🇺🇦 approach to counter drone threats by @Boryviter Military School. For Ukraine,drone warfare is daily terror against civilians. Europe needs action now:stronger air defence & bold EU–Ukraine Drone Alliance.

Productive meeting with @EEAS_SecGen to discuss further political, energy & military support for Ukraine, preparation of upcoming high-level visits. Exchanged views on strengthening cooperation with EEAS, incl. new formats of consultations to coordinate efforts on global issues.

During annual conference of @EUDefenceAgency with HRVP @kajakallas, Commissioner @KubiliusA, advider of @DefenceU @AnnaGvozdiar, model of 🇺🇦hexacopter Vampire, developed by Skyfall was showed. Ukraine is ready to share it's battlefield-proven defence innovation with EU partners.

Today, a COELA briefing took place as part of Ukraine’s EU accession negotiations, launching a monthly format to keep EU Member States regularly informed about progress of reforms in Ukraine. Transparency, consistency & trust remain key to advancing 🇺🇦 path toward EU membership.

Concluding #Stars4Media conference, I underlined that trust, responsibility & investment in good media are essential to counter manipulation &strengthen democratic infrastructure.

In Ukraine fight for freedom and democracy is the same as elsewhere in Europe – it is just more visible - Ukraine is on the forefront and our people sacrifice their lives to defend those values.
