At the polls in Fairfax, someone asked the DEMS for a map of the redistricting and they said that they don’t have a map. Then he came over to the Republican tent and we gave him this map. Then, he told the DEMS, this is why you don’t have a redistricting map. I am voting NO!

Governor Spanberger once said gerrymandering "weakens the individual voices that form our electorate." She was right. Rigged maps hurt all of us - no matter who's in charge. Keep our maps honest. Vote NO on April 21st.

"The hastily-cobbled-together, back-of-a-cigarette-packet April 21st referendum on redistricting (or “revenge gerrymandering” amendment as we like to call it) has more holes than a sponge, Swiss cheese, and a golf course combined. Is the process by which this referendum was called even legal? Is the blatantly unfair referendum question legal? These are questions which should be resolved before voting even starts." #gerrymandering #virginia #election @EIwatchdogs @electionhttps://www.cbs19news.com/news/state/allen-debate-with-spanberger-on-redistricting-amendment-not-too-much-to-ask/article_87bf7cbc-fc30-5c89-b98b-81a5ed51f6f1.html?utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter&utm_campaign=user-share via @CBS19News

George Washington's Birthday or President's Day? FACT: “Presidents’ Day” was never made official. The federal holiday is still Washington’s Birthday. While the name “Presidents’ Day” was proposed for this Monday holiday in 1951, the U.S. government never officially changed the name. In the 1980s, thanks to advertising campaigns for holiday sales, the term became popularized and largely accepted. The idea behind the name was to create a holiday that did not recognize a specific president, but rather celebrated the office of the presidency. This joint recognition would also celebrate President Lincoln's February 12 birthday within the same period, but arguably, George Washington (the Father of our country) deserves his own day. Happy Birthday #GeorgeWashington! 🥳 #notpresidentsday #georgewashingtonsbirthday

Virginia, we have a problem — and it's going to take all of us to fix it. This isn't a Republican issue or a Democratic issue. It's a Virginia issue. Stand with us. Share this page. And mark April 21 on your calendar — because they're counting on you to stay home. 📷 nogerrymanderingva.org
