Show me 1, just 1 country that developed this fast under capitalism?

🇨🇳 China is direct proof that Communism works.

@realrichardcz @TadeasuvSpace Svojí iniciativou, zejména na vychodní frontě, kdy zabránili přesunu zajatců na západ dopomohli k porážce cen. mocností.
Čeština

@VaclavPanovsky @TadeasuvSpace Proč se všude připomínají legie, když v R-U armádě bojovali asi milion Čechů? Navíc to byly mnohem významnější bitvy.
Čeština

> Češi
> Nikdy se nevzdat bez války
Lmao, doslova za posledních 100 let byly všehovšudy dva případy, kdy mělo Česko možnost bojovat a v obou dvou případech se okamžitě vzdalo bez jediného výstřelu. xdd

Zapamiętajmy: Czesi i Polacy mają jedną wspólną cechę – nigdy nie poddajemy się bez walki. 🇨🇿🇵🇱 Wolność nie jest dana raz na zawsze. Trzeba jej bronić. I będziemy jej bronić

@Itisfinished0 The universe did not come from nothing (this is what the Abrahamic religions claim). Humans did not evolve from apes, but from the same ancestor.

@weblog20 Z Polska si můžeme brát příklad ledasčeho... politická situace to zrovna není a zrovna ty veřejnoprávní média už vůbec ne.
Čeština

V Polsku je v populaci 25-64 let 38% vysokoškoláků.
➡️ V ČR máme pouhých 27% vysokoškolsky vzdělaných lidí v této věkové kategorii.
Dopady:

@KmrdKuebelwagen @MedievalScholar Write the name of that book again...
English

@VaclavPanovsky @MedievalScholar Remember that book from 2020 I mentioned before that is specifically about the topic of how the Emperor's from Karl to Barbarossa secured and justified their power?
How about that one?
English

Upon even further deep reflection. The Holy Roman Empire was in fact holy, Roman and an empire

The Medieval Scholar@MedievalScholar
Upon deep reflection and studies. I’ve determined that the Holy Roman Empire actually WASNT holy, Roman OR an empire.
English

@KmrdKuebelwagen @MedievalScholar Show me experts that disagree.
English

@VaclavPanovsky @MedievalScholar Really? Experts disagree here.
You brought a fringe student opinion that had no impact in scholarship, is unpublished and was not peer reviewed while lying about it being settled science in "newer studies" and talk to me about how science works?
Disgusting, honourless behaviour.
English

@KmrdKuebelwagen @MedievalScholar That’s not how science works, bro... a defended master's thesis is relevant academic literature.
English

@VaclavPanovsky @MedievalScholar Yes, it literally is & it goes against the opinions of the established experts in the field before and after it.
So while you may think it's true to feel like you made a point on the internet, the collective scholarship does not.
Maybe because he didn't even publish it properly.
English

@KmrdKuebelwagen @MedievalScholar A thesis is the student's opinion... ok
English

@VaclavPanovsky @MedievalScholar Okay, you have to be lying about being a history student, I doubt you ever saw a university from the inside.
The academic principle of taking and running with a non-peer reviewed, unpublished student opinion that goes against established and later scholarship does not exist.
English

@VaclavPanovsky @MedievalScholar Since you love your recent student essays from 2019 so much, how about a monograph from 2020 arguing for the exact opposite?
Try reading "Die Kaiser und die Säulen ihrer Macht: Von Karl dem Grossen bis Friedrich Barbarossa" of Classen, it's only about 560 pages long.
Amateur.
English

@VaclavPanovsky @MedievalScholar He made Karl a saint, centered himself in Aachen in Carolingian tradition while framing the realm it as a continuous institution since Karl, restored imperial rights of Karl. even in Italy for the Roncaglia and portrayed him as a model monarch to strive after.
Post your sources.
English

I don't want to be the one who is bad when it digs up a sandcastle, but... the current European welfare state systems are at least partly based on the Bismarck system. They are all slowly collapsing because they don't take into account the demographic crisis. It is already a problem (see Germany, France) to finance the welfare state and at the same time invest in infrastructure, solve crises or build military industries, let alone armies.
English

"Nooo you cant have both a strong and able military while maintaining a prosperous social state that protects your people, that's literally impossible"
Now I know how Bismarck felt

WE THE PEOPLE@Americanvalues
@Wolfgang18842 I wonder if European will realize how privileged they were when their universal Healthcare turns into military spending
English

@KmrdKuebelwagen @MedievalScholar For the last time... the latest studies of the sources show that the emperor did not claim any allegiance to Charlemagne. The analogy that is in the chronicle is the work of the author himself, not the active policy of the emperor.
English

@VaclavPanovsky @MedievalScholar >X DIDN'T HAPPEN!
>yes it did, here are several different documented ways how it happened
>Y-YOU'RE COPING!
lmao

English

@VaclavPanovsky @MedievalScholar How are you supposedly a scholar and think trusting the google AI with historical details is a good idea?
I'm a classicist, not a medievalist and don't need the specialization to tell you that's incredibly stupid for medieval history.
He referred to Karl, you were wrong. Period.
English

@KmrdKuebelwagen @MedievalScholar Dude, just use Google...
English

@VaclavPanovsky @MedievalScholar I suspected that your entire education on this was based on AI, but it's sad to see you chose literally the worst AI to get correct information from.
It's really funny to see that you think any of that is in any way relevant to him referring to Karl.
English

@VaclavPanovsky @MedievalScholar How does this even happen? You clearly have a huge ego based on your apparently worthless historical studies, but surely the ego is based on... something?
Did you specialize in something else and thought you could bluff your way through with empty phrases here due to that?
GIF
English

@KmrdKuebelwagen @MedievalScholar It was not his initiative. He was at war with the Pope, which ultimately ended in the defeat of the Emperor, the emancipation of the Church, and the loss of authority over Italy and Burgundy...
English

@VaclavPanovsky @MedievalScholar You clearly don't study it well and how is it a cope to say "his personal chronicler and uncle he paid to write for him legitimized his reign by referring to Karl" when you said he didn't refer to Karl to legitimize his reign?
You're just blatantly wrong, it's not even close.
English

@KmrdKuebelwagen @MedievalScholar Cope as hard you want. I literally study history...
English

@VaclavPanovsky @MedievalScholar "Latest studies" are wrong all the time, that's why we have new ones frequently. Meanwhile his uncle and personal chronicler Otto was very explicit in his description of the translatio imperii, so why would I trust those studies over the guy Barbarossa paid to write for him?
English
