I welcome the agreement between the United States and Iran to establish a ceasefire, and we are grateful to Pakistan and other regional mediators for their work. Weeks of conflict have pushed energy & food prices to painful levels for families and businesses across the world and in Europe. It is now time that all commitments are respected in order to facilitate diplomatic negotiations and a lasting solution, bringing stability and security to the region, including the safety of navigation through the Strait of Horumz. Romania is in contact with its partners and stands ready to support ongoing efforts.

I can understand the context given the Foreign Minister's presence in India, but I don't see the harm in giving Pakistan its due in helping to broker this ceasefire agreement. Doing so would not have been tilting towards Islamabad but simply recognizing reality.

@JonFDanilowicz Bangladesh is happy living as a dependent state on India. We Pakistanis have no problem. But India has a track record where it starts bullying it's neighbours once dependency is created.
