Im noticing discourse shift to "artists shouldnt make a living wage because they should have a real job" is alarming considering most artists do art because they're disabled and can't do traditional work ^_^ we probably should try not to devalue art

HR only operates to cover the company/employer's ass. They wouldn't try giving said company/employer a moral lesson.
Though I WILL agree that quitting a job without a backup one says more about the employer than the employee.

It just sucks feeling like I'm genuinely unwanted and like I'd be better off just being dead. I feel like a nuisance to others, I'm a burden to my mom, I've accomplished nothing with any lasting benefit... it kinda just makes me wonder what the point is in trying anymore.

@KriokSlendi @maplemaeVT Yep, but it hasn't really amounted to a whole lot. I've had a couple collabs here and there (one's coming up in a couple weeks), but aside from that people don't actively talk to me or even really acknowledge that I exist in there

If you're that desperate to get a specific amount, raise the prices to accommodate the fees.
You're still getting the majority of the earnings. A lot of other places take a much higher percentage than this, so I don't see an issue here.

@Nixie_North The mouth, eyes and hands are fucked up at multiple points, the grainy texture (which usually is only used to cover up shit in AI), the animation being stiff and unnatural, warped/nonsensical details, and so on. And this kind of shit is prevalent in a LOT of things, not just this
