Q1 2026 DoubleZero Network Update… Here’s a recap of the last 90 days: → Launched DoubleZero Edge which now carries ~50% of @Solana’s network stake, representing 400+ validators → Hit 51% of @Solana’s network stake operating on DoubleZero’s high-performance rails, representing 460+ validators → 100+ traders, market makers, MEV searchers subscribed to DoubleZero Edge → Increased dedicated bandwidth on the network to 9.71 Tbps contributed by 15 independent organizations → Brought Wall Street trading-tech, known as multicast, onchain for the first time in history → Joined @fund_defi and +30 industry leaders to request that the SEC formalize the principles in its recent Staff Statement—distinguishing non-custodial UIs from broker activities—in notice-and-comment rulemaking, so we have durable regulatory clarity that lasts. → Brought validator fees to ZERO, and introduced a new revenue stream for publishing shreds → Improved link networking speed for @Solana by an average of 22% → Reached $18B in Total Connected Value (TCV) on DoubleZero’s dedicated fiber network And on top of all that… we’re proud to say that in the background: Phase II of the DZDP successfully pushed Europe’s share of @Solana stake below 66.66% for the first time in at least two years of recorded data. A massive win for global network decentraliztion.

Most crypto pitches stop at software when the real opportunity is in hardware. Tomorrow on @ValidatedPod: @Austin_Federa sits down with @m_it from @SolanaMobile to unpack why phone manufacturers may be able to double their per-device return by supporting a small piece of the crypto stack and what that unlocks for @Solana Mobile's vision beyond Seeker. Equity Perps vs Tokenized Equity: which one is actually riskier? Ellipsis Lab's Head of Trading Rahul Jain on why perps are simpler to reason about than tokenized assets "The perp is a lot simpler to reason about because there's only one thing that can go wrong, the DEX itself. You have to trust they're publishing a fair oracle price and trust the safety of your money on the platform. That's it" "Anything that has a real token behind it, like we have something in escrow that matches the Tesla tokens onchain, there's more you have to trust. It's a matter of what entity you trust" "Anyone trading anything should be very aware of the counterparty risk they're taking on and who's backing the asset"

The firms leading in market making figured out early that infrastructure compounds. @Austin_Federa sits down with @RahuuuuulJain, Rahul Jain (@Ellipsis_Labs), to trace how crypto market making evolved: why being early matters, how MEV and transaction landing reshaped execution, and what it will take for onchain finance to scale beyond crypto-native users. Understanding the infrastructure layer is a prerequisite for competing with traditional trading environments. Rahul Jain, @RahuuuuulJain, Head of Trading @Ellipsis_Labs, argues that iterating on something that’s fundamentally broken may not be as good an idea as pursuing the upside of improving its infrastructure. Watch the full video below! ↓

The third part of our Constellation MCP debate is live: One of the things you hear a lot about Constellation is enforced ordering and selective censorship resistance really matters, especially for applications and market makers. S So I sat down with a market maker on Solana, who has experience with traditional venues as well as onchain. Plus, he's part of the team building @PhoenixTrade. Hope you enjoythis one

The infrastructure behind crypto market making is changing. How it develops determines whether onchain markets can operate at institutional scale. Tomorrow on @ValidatedPod: @Austin_Federa sits down with @rahuuuuuljain, Rahul Jain, Head of Trading at @EllipsisLabs, to dig into the evolution of market making in crypto. They also discuss MEV, transaction landing, execution, prop AMMs, and what onchain finance needs to compete at scale with traditional trading environments. The best protocol designs survive the hardest questions. In the second episode of this two-part debate series on the Constellation proposal, @Austin_Federa sat down with @bw_solana to unpack why @Solana's current architecture creates real challenges around transaction ordering, predictability, and censorship resistance — and how Constellation aims to address those issues through a new multi-proposer framework. Brennan comes in with a clear point of view. The conversation covers the trade-offs between latency, complexity, and fairness, debates whether the proposal strikes the right balance for traders and validators, and explores how Constellation fits into Solana's broader roadmap. Part one was the outside-in critique. This is the inside-out case for why the architecture could use a change. Debates ultimately make the thing stronger. 🦾 Timestamps and links below ↓

Pressure-testing ideas in public is how great infrastructure gets built. In this first @ValidatedPod episode of a two-part debate series on the Constellation proposal, @Austin_Federa sat down with @HypoNyms of @temporal_xyz to pressure-test the paper from the outside in. Ben isn't opposed to the economic motivation behind MCP or Constellation. He's more focused on the potential trade-offs like added complexity, potential unintended effects on market structure, and whether alternative approaches could get you to the same place on censorship resistance. Austin and Ben later dig into whether @Solana's current architectural limitations are even being correctly diagnosed and what these design decisions could mean for the next generation of onchain trading and market infrastructure. Good debates ultimately make good protocols. Timestamps and links below ↓

@ValidatedPod @HypoNyms @temporal_xyz Great discussion! While I naturally disagree with some things said (e.g., the leader having too much power), I also agree with a lot of statements. For instance, I'm in favor of discussing simpler approaches. Just having a slightly MCP'd version of Alpenglow for instance.
