And sometimes that means playing the game, letting go of a little bit of silence to stay seen, to stay in it. That’s not on him. That’s how it works. And what hurts - what really stings - is seeing fans take that & twist it into blame. Accusing him of lying, manipulating, playing us. As if he owes us proof of his sincerity every time he breathes. That’s not love. That’s not what this bond has ever been about. This isn’t about deciding what’s real or fake. This is about recognizing the mechanics. Knowing how the game is played so we don’t get lost in the illusion. So we stop turning on each other when the script doesn’t fit our comfort. Understanding is the key. Not projection. Not blame. And especially not blaming Louis. He is doing what he needs to do to survive this world, to stay where he is, to keep giving us the parts of him he chooses to share. So no - I won’t turn off my brain to feel safe. I won’t pretend this is all organic just because I love him. I love him because I see him clearly. Because I know the strength it takes to protect yourself in a world that constantly tries to strip you bare. That’s the kind of love he deserves. Not blind loyalty, but real loyalty.
