Rodri is 30 years and has been injury prone for like 2 years this but a whole Real Madrid were fighting to get him and Manchester City that have been winning always tried their best to keep him. Real Madrid just bought 30 years Dumfries and renewed 33 years Rudiger contract and happy with him. They also added Bernardo Silva who will be 32 this year. Mikel Merino is also 30 years and Arsenal that won the league are keeping him. And many top teams will be ready to sign him if they decide to sell him. 31 years old McGinn is one of the most important player for Aston Villa under Unai Emery. Liverpool have 35 years old Van Dijk at the back and they are ready to start the season with him. Barcelona la liga champions have Frenkie De Jong in their midfield and always been a starter. Most clubs will go for him incase they’re ready to let him go. Raphina will be 30 this year and he’s still Barca one of their best players. PSG that won the champions league back to back needed Fabian Ruiz who’s 30 now to play a very important role. Their best player is also Dembele who’s 29 years old with 32 years old Marquinhos leading their backline. Bayern Munich that everyone saw them playing one of the beautiful football last season got Jonathan Tah who was 29 years and now 30 leading their backline. While Joshua Kimmich is their most important midfielder. Harry Kane that is leading their attack is also 32 now. Atletico Madrid have been very consistent in Europe always and they have 31 years old Marcos Llorente and they just bought 30 years old Grimaldo. Serie A Champions Inter Milan that have been very consistent in Europe has 29 years Nico Barela, 32 years Hakan Calhanoglu and 37 years old Mkhitaryan in their midfield. But there are some football fans saying the signing Tielemans who’s a premier league proven is not a sensible move because he is 29 years old. And most of the people saying this are Manchester United fans. Is that not insane?

This is what happens when you allow states to buy Football Clubs. They influence Governments to protect them. 1500 days ago @premierleague charged @ManCity with 115 charges yet they’re STILL cheating. Shameful they’re not relegated, given a transfer ban & all trophies removed.

I need @ManUtd and Carrick so make Yoro a starter. Maguire should be a bench player to put out fires at the end, if NEEDED. We cannot have Maguire being a weak link every season and forcing the DM and left back to babysit him just because he is too slow. Wind of change.

@SwedishRumble Get with the program Mr Rumble 🤌 the incompetent buffoons only focus on area at a time. Defence will be next season 🙄🤷 already briefed journalists on it. Last yr it was forwards. This yr attention on midfield. #manutd can't seem to focus on multiple things at once

I don’t understand how LB cannot be the second priority after CM? 🔺We have four players who can play fullback: Shaw Dorgu Mazraoui Dalot Dorgu is coming off a serious hamstring injury. Shaw has never been healthy, and is a much better fit at CB at his current age. Mazraoui has also had his fair share of knocks. Dorgu is still very young and has looked pretty raw at LB. 🔺I really rate Harry Amass. There is a lot of talk about Thwaits, Lacey and co — but having proved that he can be a goto player for a club in the Championship and having that experience puts Amass head and shoulders above the rest in terms of readiness for the PL. That is a very tough challenge that many top young players fail to pass. With that said — I am not sure how well Amass even fits what we need at LB? I mean, he is great on the ball. Very tidy. But will we be able to play keep away with the ball and never defend? 🔺I would love to have an athletic monster at LB. Someone who can invert into the defensive midfield and help our CM out. A Kyle Walker type at LB would definitely make a lot of sense. Or someone who is more like Hincapie and Calafiori at Arsenal. As things is now — it could very well turn into a real weak area for us next season. Shaw has been available for like 40% of the games the last 8 years or whatever. If we overplay him just a little bit — he could easily be out for 6 months. That leaves us with 3, Dalot, Dorgu and Mazraoui. I was questioning Carrick not taking off Dorgu early before he got his hamstring injury. When he plays 90 minutes and have run a lot — he looks like a hamstring injury waiting to happen. Love and behold, he got a serious one last season after just playing what 3-4 straight games. Play those 3 a lot with little rotation — all of a sudden another one goes down. Then you only have two options which means no rotation and the risk of the two remaining also being injured is increased exponentially. 🔺Many replies to the need for a LB with a reference to Mazraoui also being able to play there. And sure, he can do that. But remember that the World Cup is a lot slower than the PL. He will be challenged a lot more at LB, be given less time. Dalot can also play LB — but gives up a penalty kick every other game he plays there. But even so — if we are playing Mazraoui at LB, we need another RB. 100%. You need 4 full backs who can be expected to carry a heavy load to survive playing both in the PL and the CL. Shaw is at most 0.4/1 in this context. Dorgu is maybe a 0.6. We need another full back.

@Ellis_ It's the agents 🤌 it's no in their interest to have it out into contracts as their fees is a % of the overall fee. Any player who has an agent not working in their best interest should fire them. Clubs/agents collude - player loses.

Another example of @FabrizioRomano reporting a Man City signing in pounds while reporting a Man United signing in euros. Both are transfers between English clubs, so why the inconsistency? The only thing it changes is how the fee looks at first glance. This kind of slippery, weasel-worded reporting is exactly why people question his credibility. If you’re going to report transfer fees, at least apply the same standard to every club instead of constantly shifting like a paid mouth-piece.

@BenDesigned Or is it?! 🤷 Look at all the big clubs (by revenue) and how their CM/DM midfield positions are stacked. We've always neglected that position & therefore have exposed our defence. No protection at all for them. You'll never be competitive doing that #mufc #manutd #utd #
