You know the only thing stupider than the old trope about bringing in the television carts to watch the ACC tournament? Headlines and tweets that say a team has "punched a ticket" into the semifinals or finals or to the NCAA field of 68. When's the last time you had to have an actual ticket punched for anything? For me, it was the press box meal ticket at the 2003 Toyota Gator Bowl. It's an archaic reference that should be retired for modern generations reliant on digital wallets and QR codes, who have no frame of reference for hole punches and paper tickets.
