We have Spring wildflowers in the park as well as all the Spring bulbs.

Our Parliament had a wonderful afternoon with Friends of Valley Gardens. They rolled up their sleeves for some planting and litter picking, they were absolute superstars!🌍✨ Nothing says "making a difference" like a group of young people who care about their community #Care

We celebrated Mother’s Day in a blustery 💨 park and then retreated to the park pavilion (a members nearby home) for tea and cake. One member made Mother’s Day cards for all the mums in the group and park users too. A lovely afternoon.

We planted a community orchard thanks to @theTRUpgrade. Thank you also to the park rangers at @MyWakefield for helping plant them and to Reflections House for making the tree guards.

Well Christmas Eve is here but before Santa 🎅 arrives we would like to wish all our park volunteers and users a Merry Christmas 🎄 and a Happy New Year 🥳. We will be in the park this Sunday at 12:30pm if you want to join us or say hello 👋

Happy to have completed the planting of our community orchard. We will have 🍏 🍎, 🍐 and plums. Thank you to Reflections House for fabricating/installing the tree guards and our councillors for their support. All paid for after a #transpenninerouteupgrade grant!
