Roy never leveraged UNC and I doubt Few ever did that with Gonzaga either. Not bc they couldn't but because they were loyal to the program. A good AD relationship helps too.

@franfraschilla @ArizonaMBB Absolutely. Tommy can have a great career in Tucson and even win championships. Same with Otz in Ames. Frankly with the buy in needed to run Tommy's, Kelvin's, and TJ's systems a job like UNC would probably be a poor fit.

At this point in time, there is no better job for Tommy Lloyd than @ArizonaMBB. If you don’t want to call the Wildcats a “blueblood,” that’s fine. But he’s not leaving for North Carolina or the other “blue bloods” that could open next year. Just spend a basketball weekend in Tucson to understand that.

Couple thoughts: Weird that our fanbase is acting like Billy is a terrorist. Wouldn’t be a horrible hire. Arizona getting to the FF doesn’t mean we can’t get Lloyd anymore. I think our administration will be patient for the right guy. Gotta hope they don’t win the chip tho.

Irregardless, buying puts is considered a short position and you can make more than 100% - it’s definitely not a long position.
