Recent Pi KYC improvements unblocked a large scale number of Pioneers to submit their KYC or proceed in their KYC process. Go to the Pi mining app to read these updates that include enabling over 1 million people to apply, resubmissions for some rejected applications, resolving tentative KYC status, and other fixes for blocked submissions. Upcoming enhancements will address name mismatches, provide scalable tentative status resolution and further streamline the process. Why do we need to reduce the gap between the number of KYC’d and Mainnet migrated Pioneers? Because we want to include as many of them as possible in the Open Network!

As part of preparing for Open Network in Q1 2025, Pi Network made Mainnet Pi apps accessible through the Ecosystem Interface on the Pi Browser. An initial 20 Pi apps are included, with more apps to come in the future. Pioneers can explore these Mainnet Pi apps, but exercise caution and use them at your own risk because they are not developed or endorsed by Pi Network. Developers should get their Pi apps in shape and apply to be included in the interface through the Pi Dev Portal. Go to the Pi app home screen to learn more.
