I performed in the drama festivals from high school through college. Politics has always been the heartbeat of performing arts.
Most of the performances were political, with creative undertones. The more relatable they were, the more ovations the performances received.
Politics is life. Politics is education. Politics is health. Politics is religion and culture.
Art mirrors life. This ban stifles creativity to appease the fragile egoes of bureaucrats, and is the greatest disservice to performing arts yet.

PUBLIC STATEMENT ON BABY JAMES– EASTER MONDAY.
Last night, I made arrangements to take Baby James back to Kisii. However, as I calmly prepared him, following his uncle’s request and without applying any pressure, the child clearly and firmly refused. He chose to remain under my care. I fully stand by his decision.
This Easter Monday, I thank Almighty God for revealing the truth and preventing any plans by the devil aimed at separating this child from my care.
Let it be made absolutely clear that going forward I will not tolerate lies, propaganda, or misinformation. Not everything seen on social media reflects the truth. What began as a small matter has been deliberately distorted by individuals with personal interests, to the extent of dragging an innocent child into unnecessary public drama.
That must stop now.
Any attempt to use this child for clout, blackmail, or intimidation will not be accepted and will be dealt with accordingly. I will not be intimidated, nor will I be shaken.
That said, I continue to respect the baby's family. Anyone from his extended family including grandpas, uncles, aunts, cousins, and others who wishes to follow his progress or visit him is welcome. I will even be ready to facilitate this, including covering travel expenses from Kisii to Nairobi and back.
My priority is to ensure that this child grows up in a safe, stable environment, with proper care and quality education. I have done this successfully before in other similar cases which dont even need explaination, and I will continue to do so.
No amount of pressure will change my position.
Let the child have peace. Let this matter rest.
Enjoy the rest of your easter Monday.

I will not pretend everything in Siaya County is perfect. There are two or three things clearly going wrong there, just as there are in many other counties.
That said, I respect Orengo very much. In this country, it is becoming very hard to find men as consistent as Orengo. At a time when almost every Nyanza leader is ass-kissing Ruto, he has at least tried to hold his ground.

As we mark this Easter Sunday celebration, we celebrate a massive victory for the sport.
A huge congratulations to Majembe (Portifas Odipo) for his hard-earned win against Mbavu Destroyer (Ferdinand Omondi) in last night’s showdown.
It was a phenomenal display of skill and spirit that has truly electrified the boxing community. As we enjoy this festive season, we remain committed to encouraging and promoting sports as a powerful tool for unity, discipline, and national pride.
Wishing everyone a blessed Easter Sunday filled with the same energy and triumph we witnessed in the ring.

@zaxoguda Best player ever from Kenya, lived all our dreams bwana.

Victor Wanyama has retired from football. He had 8 goals in the 64 games he played for Harambee Stars.
Id want to speak to players in the Kenyan Premier League and those aspiring footballers with hopes that they'd make it in this sphere.
Those who have had the privilege of talking/working with Victor will tell you that he was a funny human but, most importantly, one who was dedicated to his craft. Shy human in front of a crowd but a workaholic away from the cameras. He might not have been talented as some of his peers, but he hated distractions that came with the craft. This is the place that any aspiring footballer should be drawing his/her inspiration from.
Playing in the top five European Leagues isn't for everyone, and to me, he remains the best footballer we ever exported to Europe.

Yesterday in Kirinyaga, while mourning my dear friend Mwalimu Karaba, I spoke about the Kenya he served, and the Kenya we must demand.
Walisema, wametenda kweli? Wheelbarrows to power. Billions to luxury. Hospitals without medicine. Ksh6.3 billion in private accounts. Punda amechoka!
When Ruto put that Bible down on inauguration day, ndipo akaweka chini ahadi zake kwa Wakenya.
Kenya needs leaders who serve wenye nchi, not wenye vyeo. Thieves must be jailed!
Wantam from the county to statehouse, we did it with Kanu in 2002, we can do it again when wenye inchi unite!

This journalist is so clueless.
A few months ago, he saw a far-right protest in France and commented, "Oh my, the police in France get along great with the protesters—there's no violence" (duh! The police in France mostly vote for the National Front, and their practices are modeled after colonial ones. Open a book, man).
Now, he's visiting a tax haven and says, "Wow, free public transportation for everyone—unbelievable!"
And these people are supposed to understand Eastern Congo and the genocide against the Tutsi?

@wesmapesa @Osama254_ Naaah Wakenya ata wajengewe soko na wapewe bure most would still want to sell their wares on the roadside citing "accessibility"
English

@Osama254_ Move ya kueka stall kwa Barabara ni to cut costs. Affordability ya Kenyans iko low, so if you run a business and customers si wengi enough to meet the costs, you eliminate the costs you can to make what you sell affordable na pia upate ya unga.
English

Wakenya hawapendi mahali kama hapa lakini wataeka stalls zao hapo kwa barabara,we’re a reflection of our leaders.

@Josh001J People in Gikomba are not illegal furnitures buana, Babu is right. A logical government would renovate in phase, half renovated, half business is going on then they swipe, simple planning used all over the world, you can't wake up & destroy livelihood & say its restoring order.
English

Babu Owino aliniangusha sana jana. Him doing populist politics is very bad. The demolition of Gikomba is actually helping him. He just needs to sit and watch so that when he gets in aanze kufanya robust changes. Akisimama in solidarity na watu wa Gikomba it means he is not ready to restore order in Nairobi. He doesn't have a plan for bodabidas, matatus in CBD, hawkers and roadside kiosks. Yeye anataka kufurahisha watu at the expense of our city! Nairobi needs order not sympathy!

@jackiemukami6 @TheNairobiTimez Its his sister who took the contract, but funds are from Kioko, so they should just pay the sister then
English

Machakos County Secretary Muya Ndambuki has dismissed comedian Sammy Kioko’s KSh 19 million payment claim, stating that Kioko is neither a registered contractor nor a supplier for the county.
Ndambuki further noted that pending bills are a widespread issue affecting multiple government entities, including the national government, and insisted that Kioko’s claims do not reflect any official county records.
