There’s plenty of reasons to dive in to Subnautica 2 at its Early Access debut, including the start of a captivating story, the interesting and stressful depths to explore, and the addition of simple but effective multiplayer options.

@DMC_Ryan Cool, but it's a 4/10 game that plays itself.
Definitely not a 10 by any stretch of the word. I am not saying people can't enjoy 4/10s, just that it's not a 10. Game journalists love it, cause it has zero gameplay, challenge or difficulty 😅
Finished Mixtape. As someone who was a teenager in the '90s, same as the kids in this game, it really clicked with me. A lot of the sequences were really surprising and delightful (and a few were outright hilarious), and I connected with the story it told.
@kiwijuicing Hello Kelly!
Any chance we get the Arcane Archer as well, like we got the Varashta diciple last time? I also hope for the 3rd Druid ascendancy! And maybe info on the Chronomancer and (Maybe) Chayula Monk 5.0 version?
Please tell me the Darkness nodes are consolidated into 1 <3
@DestinLegarie So the 3 games total about 8-10 hours and we can count them as a complete series season? 😅
Well, the devs don't seem to care about making a profit so why not 😉
@Mankosmash@Michaeldudufudu No like honestly. Can someone elaborate why every single game developer looks like this now? Does developing video games make you troon out or is it the other way around? I don't understand.
@SpaceCadetCS@Sabrecobra@DAKKADAKKA1 Starfield with mods is easy 9/10, but requires a lot of work to reach on that level, but when you sort your mods right, it's an incredible, immersive experience. Go for immersion and more hardcore exploration with no fast travel, that's the way to play SF.
@Vandal__Prime@Sabrecobra@DAKKADAKKA1 I liked Starfield it just has no meat to it no good storytelling in space which would be the easiest thing to do…
@Sabrecobra@DAKKADAKKA1 Starfield (with mods) is actually good and is a game. Mixtape is a mediocre 4/10 2 hours experience that plays itself. Still, Starfield is not a 10/10 but it has a lot going for it, unlike Mixtape. It's an unpopular opinion but I actually like Starfield. 😉
@strouttacompton@Xbox There's me not liking something and disagreeing with a review and then there's giving a 10/10 to a 4/10 game at best with no gameplay even. How is Mixtape better than Pragmata, RE9 or Crimson Desert, objectively? It's not just IGN, it's the whole mainstream giving it a 10.
@Fuzzy_Reasoning@mydorazio@A_i This game getting 10/10s across the board is not normal human behaviour and that's the issue 😉
We recognise paid reviews when we see them, the problem is that this skewe the entire industry to cater to journalists. Mixtape is actually ok, 4/10, nothing special, but not terrible.
Doesn’t this work both ways… “some people are unwilling to accept that others like thing they do not.”
Reviews are the subjective opinion of one singular person. It’s okay if some people really, really like something that other people do not, and vice versa. This is normal human behavior. The reaction to this game and its scores is NOT normal human behavior.
@oldmngaming@DestinLegarie I neither read them or trust them. This is not about me tough, but the way the gaming industry is skewing towards making worse games and being rewarded for it by the mainstream media. Luckily there are still gems here and there but the mainstream is off the rails at this point.
@Vandal__Prime@DestinLegarie The issue is that is your way of gaming. If IGN's reviews don't line up with the games you enjoy then don't read them. People will figure out eventually who they should get their news/reviews from. I haven't read IGN for years, not because of drama but because we didn't align
I liked Mixtape. But I can understand why many didn't. I think the Mixtape Drama is about a bigger Trust problem that's been bubbling up for awhile. I'm not sure how to fix that, but I discuss it a bit in this video.

@Phant0mp0wer@Simon397449@DestinLegarie I have not moved anything, you are too dense to understand basic concepts 😅
I agree on one thing, arguing with you is absolutely pointless...
@Phant0mp0wer@Simon397449@DestinLegarie Yeah, out of 2000 players 😅
In Steam only people who buy the game can leave reviews, in other words people who are interested in it.
If this was actually a masterpiece, don't you think there would be a bit more interest 🤔
@Phant0mp0wer@Simon397449@DestinLegarie Me disagreeing with a review is one thing, 95% of the audience disagreeing with a review, especially one giving a 10/10 is something more, and it's a pattern. 😉
@Vandal__Prime@Simon397449@DestinLegarie If that's what you want to believe then more power to you, you seem to be intent on having that mindset so nothing I say will change anything for you. I'll just leave it with this, if only the reviews you disagree with are paid then none of them are.
@Phant0mp0wer@Simon397449@DestinLegarie Well it's the journalists job to play them, something at which they are often terrible and they mostly hate challenge. Then it's their job to give them objective scoring if they are using that system. And there is absolutely no reason to rate Mixtape as a 10 except being paid 😉
@Vandal__Prime@Simon397449@DestinLegarie I can't speak to my personal experience with the game as I haven't played it. And I probably won't because it's not really something I'm interested in, but I'm not gonna sit here and say it's objectively a bad game. It's just not for me and that's okay.
@Phant0mp0wer@Simon397449@DestinLegarie Ok, explain to me how a 2.5 hour visual music playlist is better than Crimson Desert with its immersion, mechanics, actual gameplay and continued development. Or Rogue Trader, one of the deepest, most complex and well written CRPGs, Frostpunk or POE2? 🤔
@Vandal__Prime@Simon397449@DestinLegarie What is an undeserving game to you can be a deserving game to someone else. This is the core issue of what happens when we try to pass our personal opinions as objective truth. It's simply an argument that no one can win.
@Phant0mp0wer@Simon397449@DestinLegarie True, but this is also marketing. See, when undeserving games are overrated and actually great ones pushed down, this creates a massive cognitive dissonance and a detachment from the media with largest reach with the actual players. The only winner is th media getting marketing £
@Vandal__Prime@Simon397449@DestinLegarie I don't like the numbering system at all. Putting a flat number on something that is subjective is something I don't really agree with. The whole point of a review is for that person to express their personal thoughts on a game they played. That is inherently subjective by nature
@Phant0mp0wer@Simon397449@DestinLegarie And you don't think much more deserving games like RE9, Pragmata, Crimson Desert and Stellar blade to name a few don't deserve better? 🤔
See, the problem is when actually good games get shafted for objectively mediocre ones at best.
@DestinLegarie My main issue is that media is pushing games with no depth or gameplay. If a game has challenge or actual mechanics, you can feel that such games get low scores, while that IS gaming. Playing something challenging and overcoming the challenge. That's my main beef wmainst Journali
@DestinLegarie The elephant in the room is this game getting a 10, while masterpieces like Pragmata, Crimson Desert, RE9 and many, many others like Frostpunk or The Alters for example getting lower scores. I have not and will not play it cause I can just watch it on YouTube. No gameplay even.
