Please remove any stress, worry, or heaviness, and replace it with joy, gratitude, and clarity. Restore my energy and prepare me mentally, physically, and emotionally for the week ahead. Guide my steps, align everything in my life according to Your will, and help me trust You in every area. Cover me, my loved ones, and everyone reading this prayer from any harm or evil. Let today be peaceful, restful, and filled with blessings. We love You, God. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray. Amen.

My brother passed away, and at his funeral, his wife showed up perfectly dressed - full makeup, bright red lipstick. The moment his body was laid to rest, she turned around and left. When we questioned her, she said we should ask the woman he died with to mourn him instead. Yes... my brother passed away in a hotel with another woman. I've spent too long bending, softening, and framing my words to fit the narrative you want, hoping for connection, for understanding, for a simple acknowledgment of reality. But it never comes. And honestly, I can't—and I won't—invest my emotional energy in someone who consistently prioritizes winning over understanding, control over empathy, and excuses over responsibility. I don't owe my peace to someone who shows up only to argue, to gaslight, to manipulate, and then claim victimhood when the consequences of their actions are pointed out. My time, my energy, my clarity, and my emotional well-being are precious, and I am done sacrificing them for someone who refuses to engage honestly. Nothing excites me more than seeing people whom life has been really unfair to get their spark back. People who couldn’t afford to eat a meal a day, people who couldn’t afford to pay their bills, people who were always in debt because their entire salary went to repayments, only to borrow more just to survive until their next payday. I’m forever excited when life finally shines its light on these people. People who lost their confidence, their self esteem, those who became a shadow of themselves due to life circumstances, it makes me happy when life start treating them nicely. Have you ever had people around you, whom you thought were stingy or don’t know how to gift, but suddenly they are in a better place and you begin to see that the reason they have been that way is because they were fighting for their lives? My heart is full of joy when struggling people are finally able to move to a new apartment, get a new job, life changing gigs, when something significant happens to them and change the trajectory of their life. I love it so much. You know why I love it? It renews my hope that as long as you are alive, putting in the work, showing up even on the days you don’t feel like it (especially on those days), one day sun will shine on everything you do. You are not going to be unlucky forever. Hang in there, everything is going to be okay, stranger.🫂
