While X premium does give accounts a general reach boost labeled NSFW content is heavily restricted by the algorithm with sensitivity warnings and limited for you distribution even for verified users. Thats why many adult and cosplay creators still rely on strategic engagement to overcome those built in penalties and grow effectively

because unfortunately, in order to grow my twitter page, and followers, you have to engage with the ragebait. I make cosplay and NSFW stuff and I follow other NSFW peeps and support them. I also educate people on goth because it seems like a lot don't truly know about the subculture they are trying to sanitize.

People really underestimate how hard it is to not just translate language, but also intent and the impact of the delivery.
Eg. "I'm gonna kill myself" can be read as feeling POSITIVELY overwhelmed in English
But it can never deliver the same way in different language

Unpopular take maybe? But the idea that art made within one culture MUST be made accessible to every other group is absurd and anti-art. I mean us Turkish speakers have even less translations than Hispanophones, yet I’ve never seen the equivalent of this meltdown in Turkey?
