Among the best teams in the Sultans League, only Fenerbahçe failed to grasp the importance of having a good coach.
Vakifbank and Eczacibaşi both beat Fenerbahçe during their rebuilding years... not entirely because of their squad, but simply because of the people in charge of those squads.
Brigoli and Guidetti made sure to involve all their players throughout the season so they were ready at the end, and that's good coaching: having a Plan A, a Plan B, and even a Plan C.
Those whom Fenerbahçe hired for two consecutive seasons... their plan was to rely on only six players for the entire season... and then make mid-season transfers that wouldn't amount to much..
