@kobedoscuatro @KBknowsball A lot of it is due to pace. Teams were no longer forced to play man to man and thibs mastered 5 men on a string. defenders slid to push players to the baseline to prevent lane penetration and force middies. Teams realized that you could just shoot more threes instead.

It is a valid point imo. They're just far faster than we are. It doesn't make economic sense for me to spend say an hour doing something given my hourly rate when I could ask an LLM do it. Writing the code was never the hard part and llms are only making that more obvious. Even if they (llms) have to write a piece of code 10 times it will still be far faster and far cheaper than I could ever do it for in terms of wages. My time is better spent in planning, decomposition and review. I actually don't see it as been much different than when I managed small teams of devs. I only dug in and got my hands dirty when things broke in a major way or they made some sort of mistake that it was just easier for me to fix vs having them fix it like a typo or something similarly petty. The more simplistic push back only considers the people saying something like "build me a slack clone make no mistakes" but those clowns are actually rare. They're really just falling into a classic cognitive trap where they seem to pretend like those rare and extreme examples are more prevalent than they really are. With 8.3 billion people alive today there are guaranteed to be some total morons in the mix and focusing on those rare examples *is* a mental weakness.

These are done in separate processes which consume a lot of ram. Chromium is also open source so you are more than welcome to revolutionize browser overhead reduction

unpopular opinion: 16GB is plenty if software engineers actually cared about memory efficiency. chrome eating 4GB for 12 tabs is not a hardware problem its a software disgrace. docker consuming 2GB idle is not a feature its laziness. we live in an era where people optimize every single token to save $0.001 on API costs but happily ship electron apps that eat 500MB to display a todo list. if the industry treated RAM the way we treat inference compute - obsessively measuring every byte - 16GB would feel luxurious. the hardware isnt the problem, the software is @adxtyahq
