Huge congratulations to Josh Thompson who competed in the Great Kiwi Bake Off Christmas Special last night. His awesome baking skills (especially his work on the turkey cake) resulted in him raising $23,500 for Variety and children in need! What an amazing effort! Thank you!

@gramts1 Most of the parents who apply to us for support are typical, hardworking Kiwis who, despite their best efforts, are unable to provide their children with essential items and opportunities. Other times, they may be recovering from difficult personal circumstances.

@VarietyNZ The question needs to be asked why are kids in poverty in N Z. Whats with the parents?

Too many children living in poverty don’t have their own bed. For some, the only ‘bed‘ they have is the couch, the floor, or a mouldy mattress. Donate today and help reach our goal of providing 553 Kiwi kids with their first real bed this winter.
