8:54 in this video he literally explains the second method. "Input forward then hold the down input, when the timing is right you release and you get to skip the f input and just input the df2." Im unsure what kinda hate boner you have, but im a relatively new tekken player and watching tmm has been super informative because he has been explaining this stuff for years, so I get confused when people just get furiously mad when hes brought up. I even went back to tekken 5 videos and he explains this method as well, even tho he himself doesnt prefer it. Tbh, I dont like the method either but its nice to know it exists. I find raw timing easier for pewgf, I land it more that way. Why are you linking videos that proves you wrong, did you just not watch the video, or are you gen Z who cant watch videos for longer than 25 seconds?

I knew you could buffer the first 'f' for PEWGF, but I didn't know that you can HOLD forward for the entire df2 animation. On lever, this means you can hold 'f', then do the rest of the EWGF in one smooth motion. Takes way less exertion and is easier to practice without strain

I really don't understand the instant denial, he explains the forward hold in plenty of videos for buffering an electric from both an EWGF and DF2. I think you're thinking of his x3 ewgf into bound advice where he mentions the 2 EWGF's need to come out as fast as possible so you can get the MD for df1,2!
