I'm surprised to learn that many people don't know that Varus was originally from Ionia and isn't exactly white.

X: But Valmar and Kai aren’t champions. Riot has already promoted other background characters in Legends of Runeterra during Pride, so that’s not an excuse. They’re present in Varus’s voice over. Varus isn’t heterosexual either. All of this is just a vague excuse to do nothing.

Kinda want to do a Varus and Zaahen redesign.. similar to what I did with Naafiri. Specially for Varus. I feel like he's the potential darkin in terms of concepts and how painfully underexplored it is
