If you know one thing about the fabric and personality of the foundation of America and Americans - it’s how independent we are. Both as a people, as a nation. We think for ourselves, don’t take shit, we sure as hell won’t be ruled or told what to do. There is no god damn collective, our forefathers rejected the very concept 250 years ago. We are rebels, resolute pioneers, constantly in search of the better. I have no idea how badly this will go for the people in New York City but I assure you with every fiber of my being this won’t work in the country as a whole. We are not Russia, Cuba, Venezuela and never will be. And I thank God for that. I wish my New Yorker friends the best of luck because I truly believe you will all need it with this utterly bizarre communist experiment you’re about to endure.
