The Competition attracted a multitude of Law Schools from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, D.R Congo and Burundi. The Finals were held at the Supreme Court of Justice in Kigali-Rwanda.

Great news! The Catholic University of Eastern Africa has emerged Best Overall Team (Anglophone) at the just concluded  8th Edition of the Ipeace Great Lakes International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Moot Court Competition, 2023.

The Team of Law Students  comprising of Kenson Mutethia and Jacinta Waititu took First Place in a hotly contested Final round where they beat Makerere University of Uganda. CUEA entered as defending champions of the competition and managed to retain  the trophy.
