I've seen one in a preliminary phase of a job application requiring JavaScript coding. It was super effective.

Weekends are finally for trying indie demos, again! This time, it was Samurai Beats Demons by @SteveHsu777. I never played Vampire Survivors, or anything else in the genre, so it was a first. And big kudos to the bear, the bear was defo the real main hero. What I liked was the depth: Between the stances, stat-raising items, masteries, arena-changing statues, and many other mechanics, and different attack area shapes on different weapons, it feels like there's a lot of potential for a diversity of builds and strategies. This depth was also overwhelming at times, especially since I had a game journalist moment and derped out on something in the tutorial. As a result, after 3 attempted runs, I am still quite unsure what most of the masteries do, and had occasional similar struggles with some of the UI features, such as equipping a wepaon in the weapon bag (would make left click equip, right click sell, the equip button was very easy to miss). Still, a fun start, will play more, and will try out more stuff in the genre. This one gave me some ideas.

@tuvati SE Asia has no natural river? The article doesn't mention SE Asia so where did they get that map? The last time I went there there are some big rivers, crocodiles and floating dead woman included.
