Vector 15

I'm using SilentSifter @VectorFifteen to ingest my images and videos. It sorts all into a defined structure which I then sync with Lightroom - fantastic workflow buff.ly/3bSjkbq

@joeninetynine @jan_ford I like free :) I reckon I’m going to use SilentSifter for local organisation, then a couple of online backup options (everything goes to Backblaze anyway) + AWS, I’ll take the Lightroom recommendation for if I want to do anything fancy - thanks for the hints

@Canoopsy Silent Sifter. My favorite by far. Sorts and organizes everything via the Metadata, Camera Used, etc...

@n0rm All devices upload via DropBox, SilentSifter vector15.com/silentsifter/ on iMac sorts and de-dupes then copies into OneDrive, Dropbox, NAS and USB drive. Folders by month no duplicates. Once in a while copy that to Glacier. Must be >30 9s of durability. Talk about digital baggage!

@parik_v I use a program called Silent Sifter on the App Store. It's like $20, but it organizes things by the camera you're using, the day, month, year it was taken, etc... super useful. :D But free, I'd just select all photos & click and drag from the photos app to your external HD.

We shipped a new Silent Sifter today, with support for Photos as an input and cascading datestamp rules. Update in the Mac AppStore!
