I love starting a new fantasy series because you'll hear a sentence like "they were cursed by the goddess" and....is it a metaphor? Superstition? Fantasy racism? Or an actual literal curse by an actual literal goddess? Who knows! Not me!

Last Saturday, I graduated with my MPH in Global Epidemiology from the Rollins School of Public Health with a certificate in Infectious Disease Epidemiology. It has been a truly amazing and life-changing 2 years, and I can't wait to see what's next!

A while back I saw someone post about doing a community-science style acitivity with an undergraduate (maybe high school?) lab class, having students do tick-borne disease testing which contributed to real surveillance data (iirc)
