@VedderFreddy @KirkLubimov Also keystone xl was canceled by the US government. Jackpine the engineering is on hold which makes sense. 75% of the engineering will be the same as the Horizon expansion. It will basically be a copy and paste once they finish the engineering there.

A whole convoy of empty oil tankers on the way to the US to fill up. It could have been Canada but we have land acknowledgments to do and carbon tax instead.

@Titor2035 @KirkLubimov That is true everywhere in the world, and for every business, but companies are walking away from Canada and going to other countries like the USA where the business climate is friendlier and geared towards actual work instead of years of bureaucratic bullshit.

@Titor2035 @KirkLubimov I guess you missed the point that there is no pipeline and no port to export oil and gas from. Tax talk is irrelevant because because there is no infrastructure in place to move product to market. BTW, Eastern Canada buys 75% (or more) of their oil and gas from the USA. 🙄

@VedderFreddy @KirkLubimov The minute the company buys the diesel or natural gas to extract the oil they pay the carbon tax. Its not when they sell the oil that they pay the carbon tax.

@Titor2035 @KirkLubimov You've got your cart in front of your horse. Oil has to be produced and shipped to a port to be taxable. But I think Carney has a plan to investigate the feasibility of hiring a consulting firm to locate ideal office space to house the people who will think about it.
