@XeroxAgeis oh don't worry i fixed the issue! there are multiple sata ports, it just happened to be the ports that were easily accessible without extra dismantling were the only two ports that get disabled. i was unaware that my motherboard had that feature i'm all good now :)

@VeiledRobots Maybe the computer can detect your HDD and SSD at the same time but can only load one of them in BIOS menu I think it would appear as SDA for the ones in HDD and NVME for the ones in SSD

3 hours trying to install a new hard drive because i didn't know the two sata ports i was using gets disabled if i have an ssd 🥀

@XeroxAgeis i thought there was a hardware issue or something... i didn't know the sata ports would be disabled if there were ssds installed... but there were other sata ports, i just didn't use them because they were behind my graphics card i was afraid of moving it too much
