#orclAPEX package APEX_ZIP is truly powerful, but I found myself needing additional functionalities, such as a pipelined function to return multiple files which I can use directly in a SELECT statement, and file filtering to retrieve only specific files. Therefore I created an extension package, APEX_ZIP_UTILS! With conditional compiling it is adapted to all versions of APEX (pre and post 21.2, which implemented new functions to extract files). I remember talking to new hires fresh out of university and telling them about #orclapex low code, and they were horrified and said «but I WANT to CODE» 🥸 Give them a few years and they will realize that coding has no value in itself, use any tool that delivers business value.
