We're going to expand the @MoonsamaNFT ecosystem to 1000's of new players. It's now time to launch the platform that will help bring ANY game the community wants into the ecosystem. YOU the community have the tools to host your own gaming events with on-chain rewards. 18 months ago this entire journey literally started from getting @Kyilkhor to build a metaverse substrate that allowed us to import NFTs into Minecraft and export resources. A blockchain-based solution to entice people to finally play Minecraft with me. Using your NFT avatars and equipable offhands (utility NFTs) in game. Mining stone / chopping wood, and it being sent to your web3 wallet. A brand new gaming experience. But being stuck with one game to play will inevitably get boring over time. Also the fun never came from the game itself, but the awesome experience with the community. It still is today the most popular gaming experience in the @Polkadot ecosystem. We're working on multiple games now and our own Metaverse which has seen multiple new hires in the past week. Beatpressure will bring endless utility to music NFTs is coming very soon. There's multiple games being built from the community too. We're bringing them all into the platform. A gaming platform is needed to bring everything together and adding all the web3 components. Moonsama portal integration, token gated access, on-chain rewards. The blockchain components that enhance gaming experiences. Incentives will come from a variety of avenues. Our fungible utility token controlled by via governance, equipable NFTs for Moonsama's and EXO's, on-chain rewards from web3 gaming partners, ecosystem projects and even advertisers. I envision GameFi to play out similar to DeFi, where we're accustomed to rewards incentivising liquidity provisioning, we will use rewards to incentivise community action. Incentivising social pools instead of liquidity pools. Today we'll launch the platform in its Alpha state and keep a lot of the upcoming features out. We're going to let the community run the first gaming events and work diligently to address any issues. Fortunately we have an incredible internal team working on this daily so I expect things to move fast. A question I'll most certainly be asked is "what about Carnage?" (our weekly gaming event). This wont replace that right now but after we introduce resource crafting there, I'm sure we'll have more flexibility. If you read our recent crowdloan paper you'll see that "participation" is required to join in on the new Governance system (earning veSAMA). We love building cool stuff to play with and we're seeing some awesome teams pop up and building too. I hope we can see these projects utilising our multiverse portal, @RaresamaNFT marketplace, new gaming platform and our upcoming @Polkadot parachain.
