@AAMI Now curiosity got the better of me, so I entered the max agreed cover, and it was still cheaper by $208.05... I've had no claims ever, so for some reason @AAMI have decided they want to charge me more money for a renewal than if I took out a brand new policy... please explain

@AAMI (Had to remove some identifying info) ... and low and behold, having entered the exact same details, the new quote came out to be $647.95 *cheaper* than the one that was auto emailed to me for the exact same cover...

Ok so I couldn't sleep without doing a bit of digging at this @AAMI Car Insurance scam going on. Today I got a notice for my car insurance renewal which is to start from 01/11/2025 at an increase of $892.32 per year for a reduction in insured value of $12,400...

@DunkenKBliths @sydney_ev Would never be caught dead owning one, that's the point lol. Have had 2 (3 & Y) as rentals to see how they are and hated them. Polestar 2 is my go to rental EV, followed by iX3, Atto 3. Partner has Renault Megane E-Tech and they're all better cars than anything Tesla has made

Someone from work, has now bought a Tesla Model 3 - went for a Test drive and also BYD Seal... He mentioned he sat in Tesla after with a massive grin...and didn't realise how great a car they are. BYD was not a great car after directly driving the Tesla.

@louis20016 SYD > CBR, 16.06.2025, around midday: Plan far in advance, and the price difference is $100+ with Virgin being a lot cheaper. I don't know about you, but I'd rather spend less money and not get any snacks on what is realistically a 45min flight gate to gate.
