Just want to raise awareness of an upcoming Riftbound tournament one of my local stores is putting on. Only July 18, 2026, Secondhand Soldier (located in Shreveport, LA - approx. 3-ish hours from Dallas, TX) will be hosting it's first big Riftbound tournament. $1,000 will paid out to top 8, with the winner taking home a Metal Viktor. Additionally, a sealed Arcane Bundle will be raffled off at the event (your entry to the event automatically grants you entry to the raffle). Finally, they will be also giving away a sealed Worlds Bundle (s/o @SummonersWkly for donating it to the event). I personally will be judging the event to ensure a fair tournament. Anyone who has met me knows this has been something I've been working toward just after RQ Vegas (I'm sorry for talking y'alls ear off about it). I took off judging RQ Atlanta so I could win the Metal Viktor, and then sourced the Arcane Bundle - both which I've donated to this event. I have not, and will not, receive any sort of compensation for this event. The errata info was shared ahead of the article. We'll have the article out once it is ready with graphics. Players shouldn't judge what is happening or not happening in the ban updates based off it. Errata is a necessary thing to keep updated as rules are revised.

We still have official reveals still to go. Leaks are a slap in the face, and take away from the time and effort from the wonderful Riftbound community members given the opportunity to reveal upcoming cards. Don't engage with Leaks, just report them and move on. Here is an official list of the fantastic people who have reveals (from today to end of reveal season)

If I go strictly with what's presented, I would say that there's no way for the tournament official to know what game the players were playing whe time was called. This is due to there being no info on whether a judge/staff member was watching the game. Based on that, I would decide match is over and ends as a draw (since TRD 408.2.d states if players are between games when time is up, no new game is started).

#Riftbound QOTD (Policy Wednesday - High OPL) My enemy and I are in a skirmish (high OPL). Game 1 drags very long, but I win it. My enemy rushes me to get into Game 2 and I comply. Enemy wins Game 2. Suddenly, the LGS manager comes in and says that the next round needs to be started. I check my watch (as there is no official clock) and find out that the round timer ended as we finished Game 1. What should be done here? What is the result of this match? (There isn't exactly a right answer. Would love to hear opinions).

Been spending my free time the last day sorting, and organizing, my Riftbound collection. 5,099 cards done (vast majority of them bulk) and I still have the entirety of SFD and UNL to go. Clearly I'd never make it working at an LGS 😅
