For those that don’t know, I am one of the managers at my local movie theater. Lately I’ve been having a rough time and even considering leaving my job because of how stressful it’s been. But with the last few days of Mario, I have seen so many families and kids coming in, so excited to see this movie and just to be happy to be in a theater that it has literally rejuvenated my passion and brought joy back into my work.

I do feel like this deserves a bit more context, so here we go. Believe it or not, content has been my full time job for about a year and a half now, and the only reason that is AT ALL possible, is because of my incredible community. But that being said, i have been holding on by the skin of my teeth. The financial struggle of it is something i am use to and to be honest it was something that despite the stress, was a big motivator for me. I like being in a position where i have to give 110% on the things that i can make. That aspect, the creative ambition aspect of things, was a trial that i was ready to face, and one that i welcomed. What i was not ready for however, was the immense other mental battles that would come over the year and a half, going from feeling like i could conquer any challenge that came my way, to having more doubt about myself and the people around me than ever before, but recently a lot of that has changed, i still got a lot of the same doubt, DEFINETLY more uncertainty, but I've learned so much better, how to deal with it. . The main reason i decided to do a partner push now, was a combination of 2 things. First was a good talk from my friend @SpongeyBuns that completely changed my perspective on what a partner push was, and showed me that its meant to signify that this (youtube/streamin) is what i want, its what i care about above all else, i love making things and i want more people to see what i make, simple as that. Secondly, i realized that i was chasing something that i could never have, i was trying to desperately to recreate what i grew up with, believing that if i just tried hard enough, that if i just put enough pressure on myself, that i would succeed the same way they did. but reality is that im not them, times have changed, and i have to do what i feel is right, in pursuit of the things that I want to make. . Ive learned alot over the past few years, ive learned the importance of being patient. ive learned what to say and not to say and when. ive learned how to better deal with my own weird brain worms. But i think above all else ive learned how to make things far better than before. so i hope u like what i keep makin : D
