I'm thrilled to announce that I've been awarded the NARSAD Young Investigator Grant from @BBRFoundation! I am grateful for this incredible opportunity and can’t wait to embark on this exciting journey!

Had an amazing time presenting my research project @CortexGrc. Met a lot of great scientists and made lots of friends. I’d like to thank my Pi Dr. Sun @mus_elegans and the GRC chairs for giving me the opportunity to attend this wonderful meeting.

I'm happy to announce that I will join @UMBCBiology as an assistant professor this August. I will be part of the first UM-FIRST cohort. The Muñoz-Ballester lab will study how astrocytes response to injury is modulated by sex, with a special focus on mild traumatic brain injury
