@collectortreas1 "Race swap" is an inappropriate phrase. He has played many Shakespearean characters including Hamlet Prince of Denmark.

And I still insist Snape was an egregious role for a race swap. I would prefer no race swaps altogether, especially since HP is already 'built in' compared to other works that lack diversity.

And the liability lies with HBO. Every darn time, non-white actors/actresses are set up like this by companies. Though no one was under an Imperius curse to audition and take roles. There are two hostile sides of naysayers the actors should've expected blowback from.
