The Old Testament was written in Hebrew by the Jews over several centuries by Rabbis and the canons were an integral part of the Jewish religion, taught and handed down by them across time. The New Testament was written by the Apostles and followers of Jesus Christ all at the same time. The Apostles were also Jews raised under the Old Testament who would have known it. These are human connections and repetition just as I stated. They call it a leap of faith to believe the Bible because you have to suspend logic and observable facts to believe it.
