This is a very real issue. WISH supported several women who really didn't understand the process and because their LD or MH was not glaring ly obvious it was not noticed.

Last year, our research found high rates of hypothyroidism among people with intellectual disabilities, highlighting the need for greater awareness. This topic is now featured in the @RADiANTCRG Physical Health e-learning course, freely available from: radiant.nhs.uk/learning
