The police arrested me for reporting these injuries They broke my door down & seized my make up, pretending I had painted the injuries on my face, despite the fact I had a CT scan from the NHS who logged the injuries This is obscene

@_sn_n You sound like someone who's been mentally broken. He's just the president and he'll be out of office in about 3 more years.

The Star Wars Sequel Trilogy blends perfectly with the rest of the Star Wars films and if they had been released in a time period where the entire western world was devolving into extremism and vocalized bigotry, they would be far more celebrated than they are right now.

The difference is historical context and power. Black women were systematically excluded, sidelined, or reduced to stereotypes in film for generations, so greater inclusion today is often an attempt to correct a long-standing imbalance in who gets seen, centered, and treated as worthy of leading roles. But casting white actors in historically Black roles or stories is not simply the “reverse” of that. Those stories often exist specifically because Black people were denied representation, had their experiences minimized, or had their contributions ignored. Replacing Black characters in those contexts with white actors would repeat the same exclusion that made representation necessary in the first place. So the issue is not just “race swapping.” It is whether the casting choice expands representation or takes it away from a group whose stories have already been underrepresented.

@nypost I agree that she is beautiful, but casting a Black woman to play a White woman in a foundational work of European literature is no more right than casting a White man to play Shaka Zulu!

@nyaraVT I used to be woke and I was not a decent person. The delusion that being self righteous, and small minded makes you a decent person needs to be studied.

I think Mark Hamill is a washed up actor who made 3 good movies in the Star Wars Trilogy and then was given the boot by Hollywood and now he sees a way to be relevant again TDS can effect anyone any race and gender,... it's like Cancer or Addiction, it's indiscriminate if your IQ is lower then 90.
