Typical of the English media, this is nothing short of scapegoating & blatant character assassination.
The vitriol stories like this will create towards Kobbie Mainoo is predictable & awful. This should be an indictment of Thomas Tuchel's inability & failure to utilise or integrate him appropriately.
It is also a case of people not understanding (or caring) that Mainoo has a reserved & introverted personality who was frozen out by Tuchel, a coward of a manager.

Let’s be logical and keep emotions aside. How bad did he train for the manager to use a struggling player ahead of him? This is the second manager to complain about his training performance. In football, 90% of managers choose their team based on what they see in training. That isolation part, this is a tournament that needs high morale and good vibes to get along with. Even if he’s doing it unintentionally, the manager will surely see it as an attitude issue and term it as being entitled. He has himself to blame for what he has gone through so far. Hopefully he gets minutes against France in the third place match.
