Not doing the FF7 snowboarding minigame for the Gold Saucer crossover thing is such a missed opportunity. I mean, Evercold. It's perfect. Also Yoshi-P said he wanted to add snowboarding to the saucer in like ARR lol

@ShinyTwins1994 We don't know how long between now and evercold. DT boat ride took a few months in lore. Time is always flexible. Hoary has blue eyes, and trailer characters are never 1:1. They've messed up before. I'm just having fun speculating, though! You don't have to agree. :)

@Very_Merri @Kalaam_Nozalys And he also got rid of his Hellsguard nose stain? And changed his whole nose shape? And skin tone? And eye colour? And got a massive scar that completely healed up? We just saw him. There's no year long time skip between now and Evercold. This is a new character.

My first thoughts on seeing the Roe Bastion in the trailer was "Holy shit, is that Hoary Boulder?" WAIT A SECOND

@Kalaam_Nozalys Lot could happen between now and Evercold. Few Scions in Lima were talking about stuff happening in Aerslaent as of the latest patch. Could be he fucks off up there for a bit, learns to be a Bastion, grows a beard, gets some new scars, and shows up just in time to join us for EC
