One day only your clinical notes will stand between you and your professional career. I cant over emphasize the importance of clinical notes especially in a society where things work. No one is asking you to write an epistle but ensure you capture the details. Even phone conversations should be documented.

I am 3 months away from finishing the whole Bible. So far Numbers was by far the hardest book to get through. 😪😪

A client invites you to their event and you are packing food like you are still in Uni attending induction ceremony. Haba you are now a practicing veterinarian o add some dignity to the title. Even if you dont have food at home still compose yourself. Tomorrow dem go tell you make you treat parvo with 10k.

A friend scraped his car for 130 pounds. A car he bought for almost 3k just 2 months ago. The cost of fixing it was more than the value of the car. Many factors contribute to this but the most important is labour. Labour cost can add a great deal to overall total. New break pads may cost 50 pounds but fixing it may be upto 100 pounds. This is why DIY is a big deal in the UK.

I dont think there is any practicing vet that loves both surgeries and consultations. Its either you love one more than the other.

I remember a scripture in the Bible where Paul corrected Peter. I know there are fathers in the faith, but if they go against the gospel, there is need for correction in righteousness. Paul already said that if anyone—even an angel—brings another gospel, let them be accursed. Anyway, I don't see anything wrong with his tattoo, so I see no reason for him to be corrected. If his members love it then fine and if they don't they can leave. There are many ministries with tattooless pastors

When the final judgement ends with the phrase "fundamentally incompatible with continued registration", it means your career as a vet in the UK is over. This was the case of a veterinary nurse who claimed to be a vet on X (at the time Twitter). Her tweets were regarded as offensive and derogatory, and after 15 years of practice she was struck off. Passing the statutory exams only puts you on the register; your professional conduct in and out of the clinic keeps you there.

No how you won't meet this kind of advise/employer at the start of your veterinary career... 😅😅
