@StuDairyVet @MillyFyfe @DrDowhittle Both my brothers in law shared paternity/maternity leave with their wives 50:50, this is becoming more of a thing, mainly driven by who earns more in the first place! Agree, surely someone taking a year off work, for whatever reason, should be treated the same on their return?

@MillyFyfe @DrDowhittle Now *of course* this is unfair on women who want to take time off to have children, but it seems insurmountable to me - can't be fair both ways. The real issue is societal expectation that women be the ones to give up their career for children. Solving THIS should be our focus!

Really interesting stats at the @NFUStweets conference from @Bovidiva. Giving up one long haul flight has a bigger environmental impact than giving up red meat. I know which I’d choose. (Also giving up your family pet has more impact than going vegan 😱 Neither happening!)

@Bovidiva I often marvel at the nurses who take blood from me, who get a large calcium needle into my invisible vein first attempt-and I take several goes at getting a needle half the size into a adult cow vein that’s the size of a hosepipe... 🤔

I once had a vet (who will remain anonymous) inject me, because I was too squeamish to do it myself. I got over the squeamishness damn quickly and went for DIY after that experience!

We are seeing an increase in GPS Domes being stolen from tractors which includes the Nantwich area. Please be vigilant in your surroundings. Make it hard for thieves to steal from you. It's not just the value, but the knock on effect to your business. Report anything suspicious
